Driving Behavior Change
Are my staff reaching people?
Knowing where people are located is only half of the story. We really want to know if field staff are encouraging behavior change. PotaVida helps by tracking end user contacts by field staff. We analyze the data, and show you how many contact the field staff have over a period of time. This tool makes it easy to track effort level of staff, even when managers can’t get out to the field.
Data Driven Insight: Two staff are contacting the vast majority of end users, and should be praised for their commitment and follow through. However, two staff are lagging. Management should confirm that this staff performing their duties.
Advanced Application: PotaVida can customize the coding of staff, so you can identify outcomes at a glance. These data can call out the differences in contacts as a function of job description in contexts where you deploy both field staff and field foremen.
Which households are my staff visiting on a given day?
Another insight PotaVida offers is tracking the individual contacts by each staff, over time. In the example below, the order and location of the end user contacts by a single staff member are shown.
Data Driven Insight: Use changes in field staff behavior to identify transportation barriers, such as impassable roads and broken vehicles, and address them right away.
Advanced Application: We can calculate the total distance traveled, and total elevation change, of a staff member over the course of a day, providing insight into their workload.
